Birdhouse and Christmas Ornaments

For Christmas this past year I gave a few people birdhouse ornaments. I made them on the lathe. A few I made separate bottoms and tops and some of the others were single pieces. All were turned on the lathe. After I finished turning I drilled a hole to be the “door” and then added a small perch. I made them from a variety of woods: maple, padauk, boxelder, and canarywood.

I also made some random Christmas ornaments. None of them really came out how I wanted them to but some other people liked them. For some reason the dog did too and he ended up eating them all.
